Forbodian Cavalry - finished!

As indicated in my earlier post on these guys, I have now finally finished painting them.  Having started off life as Italeri Mamelukes, they now serve King Boris of Forbodia.  Here they are having an experimental gallop around on the wargames table.
I made up the colour scheme as I went along.  The paintwork is in a simplified 'toy soldier' style.
These lads certainly look as if they're up for a fight!
The paintwork was topped off with two coats of varnish. I hope it's enough!

    Seriously, they look like they are going to be a handful to deal with on the battlefield. A very nice addition to you army.

    I intend my first army to be that of Laurania. It will be uniformed in a mixture of dress and campaign uniform ... which I have yet to design!

    That was quicker than i thought!!! Love the "toy soldier" style...seeing all these is getting me wanting to do something along those lines as well...NO Satan...get thee behind me!!! !!!!

    The two tricks are: 1. Don't paint much detail (easy for me), and 2. Loads of varnish.
