It's finished at last. Given the poor quality of the kit parts it doesn't look too bad - although I reached that conclusion before my recent eye test...
I kept the paintwork pretty basic - mid grey blotches over a pale grey base coat. Interior detail is minimal - no crew figures are supplied with the kit (this seems to be something of a trend among manufacturers) and I had none in the spares box.
Turned out nice that. Given the difficulties you had you should be pleased. Now you just need a few heavies for it to intercept.
